Head of Shanghai Municipal Government visited IDH's Lin-gang R&D Center

On Aug. 24, Chen Jining, Secretary of the Shanghai Municipal Committee, Gong Zheng, Deputy Secretary of the Shanghai Municipal Committee and Mayor of Shanghai, along with their delegation, visited IDH Technology during their inspection of the Lin-gang Special Area of China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone. Dr. Wayne Dai, Chairman, President and CEO of IDH, welcomed the officials at IDH Building. He made an overview of IDH’s business model,including development status and future plans, and also demonstrated IDH’s rich technological achievements and application scenarios.

Dr. Dai stated that IDH has invested 1.3 billion yuan to establish IDH Technology, aiming to deepen its R&D deployment in Lin-gang. It will leverage the industrial cluster advantages in the Lin-gang Special Area to focus on chiplet business and promote the construction of the RISC-V ecosystem, such as continually holding the Dishui Lake China RISC-V Industry Forum, establishing the RISC-V Patent Consortium, and building the open hardware platform for RISC-V  to further facilitate the RISC-V open-source software ecosystem development.
